Australia independent sees government decision Tuesday

CANBERRA – Australian independent MP Tony Windsor said he and two other independents holding the balance of power after recent elections would probably decide on whether to support a Labor or a conservative government by early afternoon Tuesday.

"My guess would be probably early afternoon," Windsor told Australian Broadcasting Corp radio.

The conservatives and Prime Minister Julia Gillard's Labor are wrangling to secure support from the handful of independent lawmakers after the inconclusive election on August 21.
